Since then Scott has accumulated a variety of accomplishments in the fitness world. From competing in 3 bodybuilding shows, 2 Ironmans, Marathons and Ultramarathons. Combining multiple training disciplines to achieve goals such as a 500 pound deadlift the day after an ironman. Or totalling 1290 pounds in the squat bench and deadlift then running 63km.
Scott Thompson is a Hybrid Athlete, Personal Trainer and Online Coach. His fitness journey started almost a decade ago after being tired of the way he look with his shirt off. After losing 40 pounds and falling in love with fitness and nutrition he went to school and began a career providing hundreds of clients with the benefits of fitness and nutrition.
The benefits of taking on intimidating goal after intimidating goal he fell in love with the self development that comes as a by-product. This is where the idea of staying in the work came from. Continuing on the path of self development using fitness as a major catalyst for becoming the best version of yourself. Being InTheWork can mean something different for everybody. Whether it’s making it to the gym consistently for 1 week or seeing an ultramarathon prep to the end. Maybe for some it’s making better food choices. W
